Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Coca-Cola District (Dil’a) has received training on digital skills at Coca-Cola Mosque, Ibadan, Oyo State on 4th May, 2019.
The training was aimed at orientating members on the need to key into ample opportunities the technology has offered the world in recent times.
The Dil’a collaborated with an information technology firm, Coded Info NG and brought a seasoned I.T. expert and Google Ambassador, Mr. Israel Odeajo for the training.
In his session, Mr. Israel gave an exposition on the 15 SDG Goals, while stressing on End Poverty and why there was a need to explore digital skills for personal business.
He, as well, advised that respective businesses should aim at solving a problem as this would be the only means to survive and earn big because world was becoming very big and a global market.
“Thinking aloud is essential so as not be outdated,” the moderator stated.
Moreover, the one time UN awardee on SDG took the participants through basic online tools needed for their business. Google Form, Google Drive, Google Calendar and some social media tools were exposed to the session.
Similarly, a co-founder of Coded INFO, who also doubles as the Dil’a Ta’lim Secretary, Bro. Animasaun AbdurRasheed, while appreciating both the guest lecturer and the attendees, said the training would be in phases and would cover internet of things, social media tools and benefits of digital marketing.
He continued that this session was just to keep the Majlis abreast and prepare their minds towards the subsequent training which would be more practical and real time in nature.
At the end of the session, the host and Dil’a Qaid, Bro. Raji Taoheed appreciated the invited lecturers and commended the participants for their attentiveness.
