Waqar-e-Amal: Coca-Cola District, AMSA PolyIbadan dig drainages, clean mosque environs

Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Coca-Cola District and Ahmadi Muslim Students’ Association, the Polytechnic, Ibadan Unit have dug a drainage and cleaned the mosque surroundings as part of their Waqar-e-Amal (Dignity of Labour) programmes held recently.

 Apparently, Coca-Cola District dug a drainage at Islamabad Area, Ologuneru Side, Eleyele Road, Ibadan, Oyo State on 5th May, 2019.

The digging of drainage was about 20 metres long, 2 feet depth and 3 feet breath.

No fewer than 40 Khuddam and 2 Atfal took part in the community work which lasted two hours.

The community leaders appreciated the selfless service of the Majlis in their community and prayed to Almighty Allah to bless and help every participant in his endeavours.

In another development, Ahmadi Muslim Students’ Association, the Polytechnic Ibadan Unit took its Waqar-e-Amal to Sango Police Barracks Mosque on 11th May, 2019.

After a long time break at the Polytechnic, AMSA has come back to the humanity work again.

AMSA Members were able to ensure cleanliness of the mosque surrounding and the Sango Police environment respectively.

Likewise, the students also channelled the water in the middle of road to the gutter in order to drain water stagnant in the area and filled up the stagnant water at the middle of the road with sand to ease the movement of vehicles.

Afterwards, the community appreciated the dignity of labour done as a resident in the community donated one pack of bottled water to​ show appreciation to the students.

Furthermore, the residents also prayed for the progress and continuity of the participants.

From the record, 9 males and 6 females participated in the dignity of labour that lasted for more than one hour.
