AMSA FPI holds Annual Propagation Week

Ahmadi Muslim Students’ Association, Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro has held its annual propagation week between 8th and 16th June, 2019.

 The propagation week was blessed with a special Tahajjud prayer and a welfare visit to handicap home at Ilaro.

The students visited elders of the Jama’at – the family of Alhaji Abdul Azeez Bashirdeen of Atewogba Jama’at, Leslie and Mr Idowu (Baba Onitiro), among others.

Besides, a public lecture was held on the topic “The Death and the Second Coming of Prophet Isa (as)” delivered by Missionary Apooyin and lasted for three hours.

Other highlights of the programme include: an excursion to Ado Awaye (the abandoned lake), a special AMSA Class, Rishtanata Class, election of executives, Qur’an and Speech Competition and Female Seminar on ‘Life after Marriage and Health Talk’.

The symposium, held on 16th June, 2019, was a special moment in the history of AMSA in the Institution, hence, brought some notable personalities to the programme.

Notable among the dignitaries are: new Amir, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria, Alh. Abdul Azeez Alatoye, ably represented by Bro. Tajudeen Oladoja, National Tarbiyya Secretary; representative of Naib Sadr (South West);  guest lecturer, Dr. Thanni Taofeeq, ably represented by Dr Alli Abdul Azeez and Barr. (Missionary) Asmowiy Raji.

Others are National AMSA President, Bro.Abdul Rafeeq Alaka, State AMSA President, Bro. Ojuola Farooq, AMSA President, Olabisi Onabanjo University, FUNAAB AMSA President, Maulvi Hashim, Ilaro Dil’a Qaid, QAMSAN President, AWSAN President and Orita Muqam Qaid, Alh. M. Popoola.

The programme, which lasted for five hours, had the attendance of 190 people.
