Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Akinyele District has taken tree planting exercise to Aponmode High School, Moniya, Ibadan, Inspiration Group of School, Bola, Aroro Road, Ibadan and Circuit Central Mosque, Anilelerin on 9th June, 2019.
The District planted eight trees at two different schools and a mosque to beautify the environment as well as increase the quality of air in the community. 10 Majlis members, three personalities within and outside the Jama’at graced the event that lasted for five and a half hours.
Similarly, Akinyele District has planted 12 trees at
HLA Primary School, Ojoo, Ibadan on 26th June, 2019 during its tree planting exercise. The exercise, which lasted for three hours, was aimed at beautifying the school environment and purifying the air from pollution.
The exercise was attended by 20 people, 3 external personalities and 2 Majlis members.
In another development, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Apata District planted 30 trees at IMG Primary and Secondary Schools, BCGA, Nigeria Police Force Divisional Headquarters, Apata and Government College, Ibadan between 9th and 19th June, 2019.
According to the organizer, the purpose of planting trees is to
promote safety of the environment, reduce carbon dioxide and erosion, provide fruits and medicine and cool houses.
During the event at IMG Primary and Secondary School, the students were orientated at the assembly on the importance and benefits of tree plantings in our immediate environment.
The teachers from both IMG Primary and Secondary Schools, BCGA and Government College Ibadan supported and appreciated the programme which was viewed as a laudable exercise while they also requested for more trees to be planted and also pledged to monitor the trees even when the schools are on vacation.
