Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Calabar Muqami has taken tree planting campaign to 13 Brigade Headquarters of Nigeria Army, Akim Barracks, Calabar, Cross River State on 22nd June, 2019.
The total number of five Step trees were planted altogether in a sequential manner.
During the planting ceremony, the State Qaid, in his remarks, said that the exercise is an annual event of MKAN which is not just to commemorate World Environmental Day but it is part of our faith and a religious obligation which we owe God to make life habitable for all so as to live peacefully.
He continued that through tree planting, we preserve nature, conserve energy, control temperature, break wind, prevent global warming and climate change, as he elucidated the economic importances of trees.
While appreciating the Majlis efforts, the Imam of the Barracks expressed his unlimited joy and thanked members in attendance for their contributions towards the propagation of Islam and promotion of humanity welfare.
“If all other Islamic youths can learn from and emulate Majlis Khuddam, the whole world would soon be peaceful and habitable for all,” the Imam, Nigerian Army 13 Brigades Akim Barracks explained.
Also, Calabar Muqami Qaid appreciated the State efforts in providing the trees while announcing that members of this Muqami would join the state during the exercise in other Muqameen.
Nine Majlis members and officers in attendance are: the State Qaid, Missionary (Dr) Waliyyullah Oni; Calabar Muqami Qaid, Captain Abdul Wahab Qasim; Ilaqa Waqar-e-Amal Officer, Bro. Babangida Ibrahim; Engr. Qasim Musa, Ilaqa Nazim Atfal and Bro. Abdul Wasiu Abidoye, Ilaqa Motamad/Calabar Muqami Naib Qaid.
Others are Bro. Abdul Kabeer Musa, Ilaqa AMSA President; Bro. Abdul Kabeer Salahudeen, Umoor-e-Talaba; Bro. Abubakar Abdur Rasheed, Isha’at Secretary; Bro. Waliyyullah Jimoh, Ta’leem Secretary; Imam 13 Brigades Akim Barracks; Assistant Imam I; Assistant Imam II; Rais Madrasat 13 Brigades Mosque and Assistant Rais Madrasat, among others.
