The Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Nigeria (Ahmadiyya Youth Wing), Osogbo Dil’a, on Sunday, February 7, quenched an inferno outbreak ranging a building opposite the Jama’at Central Mosque in Osogbo.
The inferno was discovered at midnight by one of the members who had come for their monthly meeting at the central mosque. He immediately raised alarm and others swift into action.
A call was further made to a member of the Ahmadi youth working at the Federal Fire Sevice for a rescue team. The firefighters who later arrived at the scene after being informed about the incident were assisted by the youths in preventing the inferno from penetrating other buildings and shops in the neighborhood.
The victims, the federal firefighters and the residents of the community appreciated the efforts of the Ahmadi Muslim youths.
A group of 24 members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youths has quenched an inferno outbreak in Osogbo. The youths who had gathered for their monthly meeting at the central mosque discovered the fire in their neighborhood at midnight. A call was later made to the Federal Service Fire for technical support.
