Ibadan Ahmadi Muslim Youths donate 142 pints in Q1 2021

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Organization (Majlis Khuddamul-Ahmadiyya), Oyo State in the first quarter of 2021 has donated 142 pints of blood at the National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS), Ibadan.​

Being the largest blood donor group, the organization, led by the State Coordinator, Bro. Muftau Hussein, aims at upholding the “give blood, save lives” mantra as part of its efforts to help people in need and a way of preaching the motto of its community “Love for All, Hatred for None”.

According to Bro Hussein, humanitarian services have been of high regard and integral part of our faith as all kind of services that promote peace and righteousness are what Islam enjoins and what its peaceful teachings entails.

The Zonal Director, Dr Aworanti appreciated the over 4 decades voluntary blood donation effort of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth.

The Deputy Zonal Director, Mrs Jaiyeola and the Assistant Deputy Director, Mrs Babalola, among others eulogized Majlis Khuddam for its humanitarian efforts, while charging them to do more and not to relent on its oars.

The Donors consist of members from seven Districts within Ibadan, which are: Akinyele, Omi Adio, Coca Cola, Ibadan, Apata, Oluyole/Ona Ara and Monatan respectively.

Oyo, Ibarapa, Oke Ogun and Ogbomosho Districts have special ways of contributing their quota in blood donation at major hospitals in their respective domains.
