Ahmadi Muslim Students’ Association of Lagos state has held the second edition of her capacity building seminar for members on the 19th of December, 2021.
The program is aimed at equipping members of the organization and youth at large with digital skills that enable them to become relevant in the digital world and help them to attain economic freedom.
The president of the association, Afolayan Muhammadul Awwal while explaining the significance of the program in his address, emphasized the moral bankruptcy among the youth and how illegal means of acquiring wealth have gained prominence.
“The need to continuously organize programs like this to enlighten our members and make them realize positive means of earning cannot be overemphasized,” he said.
The program was chaired by the State Qa’id Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya, Lagos state Bro Awe Ibrahim, and featured three erudite speakers from different fields.
The first speaker, Ahmad -Alfawwaz Timehin, a renowned Software Engineer, discussed the opportunities in tech and how to get started. He deeply explained the opportunities in the digital world and how everyone can benefit from these endless opportunities.
Bro Luqman Aina, an HR expert took the audience through how to craft a winning CV and an experienced freelancer, a content creator at a leading freelancing company, Bro Lamina Zaffrullah explained on the beginners’ roadmap to freelancing.
The event had 41 participants in attendance.
